What this is and why
Every knowledge artifact carries a maturity status and moves through a fixed promotion path: draft, reviewed, validated, shared-internal, public-sanitized, deprecated. Each transition is a dedicated Git commit recording who changed the status, when, and on what basis; validation requires that the artifact was exercised in real work and worked. Only public-sanitized artifacts may appear in public projections, and even then the internal source file itself is never published.
Where it was applied and what it helped deliver
No published workflow records this capability yet — the count includes only ledger mentions that resolve.
